- To make Turkish tea take a double teapot and add water to the lower pot and let it boil.
- While the water is boiling add your tea leaves to the smaller pot( 1 teaspoon for each glass) and add the boiling water and let it steep and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
- Add more water to the larger pot and boil, because we will need extra hot water at the time of serving.
- Take your Turkish teacup and filled it 1/3 with tea and the other 2/3 with boiling water, add sugar cubes to sweeten your tea and your Turkish tea is ready.
How to make Turkish tea recipe without a double teapot
You can make Turkish tea very easily even without a double teapot. A double teapot makes the process easier but, It’s not compulsory to have a double teapot to make Turkish tea.

- Take a saucepan pan and add water to boil.
- Take another saucepan and add your tea leaves and boiling water keep it aside and let the tea leaves infuse and simmer.
- Add more water to the first saucepan and boil it.
- Take a cup and fill it 1/3 with tea and the other 2/3 with boiling water and it’s ready.
- To sweeten the Turkish tea, sugar is traditionally used. But, you can use honey or other sweeteners too, whatever you like.
